25 June 2009: More gigs...

DAVE'S been doing a blog for Rock Radio for a couple of months – at first it was the ocassional post about anything that he cared to rant about. Now, though, he's doing a weekly personal diary, so if you ever wonder what Dave gets busy with when he's not on stage you can get a glimpse of life via the blog at rockradio.org.uk

DAVE has just been confirmed for a whole bunch of upcoming festivals including Great British R&B Festival in Colne, Glasgow's Blues on the River, the Smokie Blues Festival (Carnoustie – see right), The Down Home Festivalnear Brighton and Clonakilty International Guitar Festival in Ireland (September).
There's a whole bunch more including one of Europe's biggest - the Peer Festival in Belgium in July. – see the tour page for full upcoming gig and festival listings.

6 April 2009: ROBERT BURNS Celebration...tickets available now
TICKETS are now on sale for the special Robert Burns Celebration concert at Oran Mor, Glasgow on Monday 4 May.
To be staged in the venue's amazing auditorium, the event is organised by George Gallacher (of 60s pop legends The Poets) and features an exclusive set from Dave as well as Maggie MacInnes, Christine Primrose, The Sirens of Tian Choir, Alan Tal and many more including George himself. This is a very exclusive event.

1 April 2009: Belgium festival slot, more reviews, gig tickets etc
DAVE has just been booked to play the 25th BELGIUM RHYTHM'n'BLUES FESTIVAL on 18 July. The festival lineup also includes Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, John Mayall and John Fogerty amongst the spectacular lineup.
The April edition of Germany's Bluesnews magazine has a cool spread on Dave and great reviews are in the current issue of Bearded magazine and Sweden's American Music Magazine.

21 March 2009: Cool reviews, more dates etc...
DAVE's new album Got Me Electric is hitting blues and roots radio charts worldwide and fantastic reviews are coming in thick and fast. As well as top reviews in the April issues of Maverick, Rock'n'Reel, Blues Matters! and Blues in Britain magazines there's a great review online at Loud Horizon Music (also posted on Is This Music?)..read it here.
Next week (Monday 10pm) Dave will be featured artist on the Blues Show on GTFM 107.9 in South Wales and live onine everywhere else - check the show out here.
Tickets are now on sale for Dave's show at Glasgow's O2 Academy on 18 April and other dates have been announced for a special Robert Burns' celebration concert and the West End Festival (both in Glasgow) and Inverness. Also, there's been a change to one of Dave's Ireland dates – he now plays Cleeres, Kilkenny on 8 April (not The Scene in Dublin) – see the gig guide for latest info.
