1 September 2010: Gig with STEVE EARLE next week – and latest news....
DAVE has been asked to open for STEVE EARLE at the Alhambra, Dunfermline on Wednesday 8 September – tickets and info here!
Devil's Left Hand, the new album is all on schedule and a download-only single – Devil's Deal – will be released via Daves Bandcamp page on 20 September. There's more info and also full details of the album tour dates in the latest newsletter.

7 July 2010: Last minute Glasgow gig at Tuts + October/November gigs announced
DAVE has been asked to do a couple of shows with top US band Th'Legendary Shack*Shakers – last time he played with them all hell let loose :-)
The gigs are on Monday 12 July (King Tuts, Glasgow) and Thursday 15 July (The Cluny, Newcastle).
Dave has also completed recording tracks for his forthcoming album, Devil's Left Hand, set for release on Monday 1 November – there's more info and also full details of the album tour dates in the latest newsletter.

26 June 2010: WOW! That was a great Glastonbury and UK tour
DAVE has just got back from an AMAZING time and two knock out shows at Glastonbury and a great UK tour.
There's a bunch of fun snaps from the tour and Glasto here - and you can read all about it in Dave's Wordpress Blog which is also available as part of his free iPhone app.
Dave now has a couple of days' rest before heading into Chem19 studios to record his forthcoming album,

1 June 2010: June UK tour, London venue change and latest eNewsletter
THE latest Dave Arcari eNewsletter has been sent out to Dave's mail list – if you're not on the list read it here.
The venue for Dave's London show on Monday 14 June has changed. It is now at The George Tavern, 373 Commercial Road, London E1 0LA.
Dave's UK tour kicks off this weekend with shows iN Edinburgh and Glasgow and finishes up at the end of the month with a couple of shows at Glastonbury Festival. See tour page for gig/venue info.

28 April 2010: Bandcamp
Dave's music is now available on bandcamp, a fantastic website that offers free full-length streaming tracks and downloads in a variety of formats (cheaper than iTunes!). The thing we're most excited about, though, is that folks buying physical CDs get an immediate freedownload of all the tracks!

26 March 2010: Dave guests on STV's 'The Hour" programme
DAVE was the music guest on STV's teatime magazine show 'The Hour' today.
He had a great time at the STV studios and says a big thanks to all the cool folks there. You can see the interview and also a full track perfoemd on the show on the STV catchup player. Should be available for 3o days – only in the UK tho'. . We're hoping to be able to make the footage available on YouTube so watch this space. Meantime, if you're in the UK – you can check it out now!

6 March 2010: Dave confirmed for Glastonbury 2010
DAVE has been confirmed for a number fo slots (dates/times tba) on the official Jazz & Blues stage at Glastonbury (23-27 June). A few more shows and festival dates have also been confirmed recently – see tour dates page for info. There's some more exciting festival and overseas dates to be confirmed soon too. Also watch out for an imminent announcement of UK dates in October and November .
As well as writing for a new album, Dave has just completed a track for the forthcoming Shrink to Fit vol.3 compilation and a collaborative track with Estonian guitarist/songwriter Andres Roots of Bullfrog Brown.

28 January 2010: Gigs, news and new European agent
THERE's a bunch of shows added to Dave's tour dates page. There's more to be announced soon as we're working on some cool UK shows to coincide with a new album scheduled for release on 1 November.
We'll also be working with European agency, Tornado Concerts, on Dave's live shows in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.

12 December 2009: back on iTunes!
THERE was a bit of a panic over the last few weeks at Dave Arcari HQ (and Buzz Records!) when Dave's music mysteriously disappeared from iTunes and many other download stores. Too long a story for here, but the good news is everything's back to normal and Dave Arcari albums and tracks are, once again, available to download via iTunes.

2 December 2009: Final gigs of 2009...it's been a great year!
TWO final gigs for 2009 are at The Cluny, Newcastle on Sunday 13 December (with Connie Lush) – advance tickets here and The Bull Music Room, Colchester on Thursday 17 December.
Also, there's some photos from Czech and Poland added to live gallery.
It's been a great year with a new album – Got Me Electric – on Buzz Records, over 100 shows across the UK and Europe and a host of other milestones including the release of his very own iPhone app (application) and a daily Wordpress blog. And plans are well underway for and even bigger 2010 with another new album and European Festival dates already in the diary.
Helped by public endorsements from peers including Seasick Steve and a relentless tour schedule, Arcari’s work is reaching beyond blues and roots circles and building a much wider audience crossing all ages and genres.
Arcari’s live schedule through 2009 has seen him play in France, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Czech Republic, Poland and Ireland as well as extensively across the UK. Highlights of the year include an appearance alongside Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, John Mayall & Joe Bonamassa at Belgium’s Peer Festival – one of the biggest roots and blues festivals in Europe. Closer to home, Arcari names Clonakilty International Guitar Festival (Ireland), the Great British RnB Festival (Lancashire), Glasgow’s No Mean City Festival and Tenby Blues Festival (South West Wales) amongst his favourite shows of the year.

30 September 2009: Leeds gig cancelled, Czech & Poland tour dates added...
THE LEEDS gig scheduled for Friday 23 October has been cancelled by the venue and we hope to reschedule for later in the year. A bunch of dates have been added to Dave's Czech/Poland trip in November. Specific venues have still to be announced - see the gig guide for latest info.

A NEW 'introduction to Dave Arcari' video has just been released via Dave's YouTube channel – it features Dave talking about his music, influences and career to date, punctuated with loads of clips from recent live shows. This video is also available through the official Dave Arcari iPhone/iPod touch app – free from the iTunes store.

7 July 2009: Free iPhone/iPod app
WE are pleased to release a FREE Dave Arcari iPhone/iPod app. The free app gives iPhone and iPod Touch users instant access to up to date gig listings, photos, songs, latest videos, games and latest Twitter buzz. It's available from the iTunes store by clicking here or on the image on the right.
While many folks are offering apps for sale, Dave wanted his app to be available free of charge. He says "I don't see why fans should be charged or have to pay to be kept up to date – making the app available free makes it easy for folks to have the latest gig info, tunes and videos at their fingertips."

DAVE'S been doing a blog for Rock Radio for a couple of months – at first it was the ocassional post about anything that he cared to rant about. 6 April 2009: ROBERT BURNS Celebration...tickets available now
TICKETS are now on sale for the special Robert Burns Celebration concert at Oran Mor, Glasgow on Monday 4 May.
To be staged in the venue's amazing auditorium, the event is organised by George Gallacher (of 60s pop legends The Poets) and features an exclusive set from Dave as well as Maggie MacInnes, Christine Primrose, The Sirens of Tian Choir, Alan Tal and many more including George himself. This is a very exclusive event.

1 April 2009: Belgium festival slot, more reviews, gig tickets etc
DAVE has just been booked to play the 25th BELGIUM RHYTHM'n'BLUES FESTIVAL on 18 July. The festival lineup also includes Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, John Mayall and John Fogerty amongst the spectacular lineup.
The April edition of Germany's Bluesnews magazine has a cool spread on Dave and great reviews are in the current issue of Bearded magazine and Sweden's American Music Magazine.

21 March 2009: Cool reviews, more dates etc...
DAVE's new album Got Me Electric is hitting blues and roots radio charts worldwide and fantastic reviews are coming in thick and fast. As well as top reviews in the April issues of Maverick, Rock'n'Reel, Blues Matters! and Blues in Britain magazines there's a great review online at Loud Horizon Music (also posted on Is This Music?)..read it here.
Next week (Monday 10pm) Dave will be featured artist on the Blues Show on GTFM 107.9 in South Wales and live onine everywhere else - check the show out here.
Tickets are now on sale for Dave's show at Glasgow's O2 Academy on 18 April and other dates have been announced for a special Robert Burns' celebration concert and the West End Festival (both in Glasgow) and Inverness. Also, there's been a change to one of Dave's Ireland dates – he now plays Cleeres, Kilkenny on 8 April (not The Scene in Dublin) – see the gig guide for latest info.
