Mojo November 1999 ( UK) Radiotones–Gravel Road In Perth, Scotland, Dave Arcari credits Stateside virtuoso Catfish Keith for his conversion from electric to National steel guitar. Arcari leads the three-piece Radiotones (guitar/bass/harmonica). He describes their vibe as acoustic garage blues and is something of a missionary on the subject. Gravel Road combines rattling stop-start originals with excellent versions of staples such as This is Hip. They finish with a delicious hidden track, as evocative of the Caledonian wilderness as of the Mississippi Delta. Joe Cushley
