Blues Revue April 2001 ( USA) Radiotones–Whiskey'd Up Radiotones is an acoustic trio – featuring Dave Arcari on national guitars and vocals, Jim harcus on harp and Adrian Paterson on bass – with a modern songwriter blues sound. Harcus uses lots of blues harp licks, but he also displays a more lyrical style that recalls John popper of Blues Traveler. Arcari's voice is gruff and whiskey-burnt; his songs reflect the workingman's music of Woody Guthrie and Gary Davis. The stripped-down, no-drums thing is a pleasant change, allowing the three players to work together seamlessly. Ed Ivey
