Evening Times October 2004 ( UK) MusicWorks - pick of the live gigs Radiotones were selected to play an acoustic showcase at MusicWorks, Glasgow's international cross-media music conference... From the fjords, to the delta now - the Tay delta that is - with alt. blues terrorists the Radiotones. Dave Arcari's throaty yowl evokes the spirits of the Deep South; two parts Perth to one part Mississippi. With a stripped-down sound - semi-unplugged for the sensitive industry types present - slide guitar and their trademark 'moothie' are still prominent in the sound. She's Gone is a highlight of a set which, considering they're singing the blues, is still rollicking good fun. Stuart McHugh
